iPhone update 1.1.1 released
So here’s the shark in the mod-happy waters; Apple has released the 1.1.1 iPhone update and is busy trumpeting the new features - there’s even a happy little video by their sombre-clothed Bob to explain just what differences you’ll notice.
Functionality-wise there are no massive surprises (still no Flash, sadly, and they’ve not revealed a hidden 3G chip), but the WiFi Music Store is there as are some productivity tweaks such as a double-click Home Button shortcut for favourites or music controls. Anybody who has been stung by high data roaming charges will be pleased to see the option to turn off EDGE/GPRS, too.
